Metroid: Demon Hunter mod is a free adventure mod that adds 3D models to the Metroid Dreadnought mod for its base game, Doom II. This mod was developed by R4L and ThatOneRandomDude. It was initially conceived of as a collaboration between R4L and RockstarRacoon. 

The fan-created Metroid: Demon Hunter mod adds a great deal of content and corrects a lot of errors. A new user interface, a slew of new items and abilities, an upgraded single-player option, some minor modifications, and even more are just some of the many new features. It’s based on the game, Metroid Prime’s content.

Better gaming experience

Metroid: Demon Hunter mod’s base game is Doom II, which is a first-person shooter game developed by id Software. You will take on the role of an unnamed Marine hero who, after becoming the sole one to emerge unscathed from Hell, eventually finds his way back to Earth. He discovers that an alien invasion has occurred on Earth and must fight them off.

In this mod, you can expect a completely redesigned HUD that incorporates numerous gameplay improvements—this time, with more clarity and a design that is more similar to Metroid Prime. There are also new items and abilities such as shinespark, Varia Suit, Gravity Suit, and  Charge Beam. In this mod you’ll see all entirely new, original artwork for the HUD created by ThatOneRandomDude. 

There are only two downsides to this mod that players should take note of. First is that there is no multiplayer game mode since it promotes that players will get the chance to have a true Metroid single-player experience. Second, you will have to set your controls in-game before you can actually play in the correct manner, which can be tedious for some.

In conclusion, Metroid: Demon Hunter is a fantastic mod, despite the fact that it is restricted to a single-player mode only and features laborious in-game control settings options.
